Alsik Hotel

Hotel Alsik, located in the heart of Sønderborg's waterfront, is a modern architectural gem that presents an elegant fusion of traditional Nordic design and innovative sustainable solutions. The 19-storey building, designed by the renowned architectural firm Henning Larsen Architects, was inaugurated in early summer 2019 and is a central element of the visionary master plan drawn up by award-winning Canadian architect Frank Gehry.

With a current CO2 neutrality of 76%, the hotel continuously implements new green solutions, making it a demonstrator for the region's leading clean tech companies. The facade's modern cassettes, anodized in a specially developed HAI® gray colour, gives the building a unique visual identity and refers to the historic brick buildings in Sønderborg.
