Transform ApS
BS4 Bronze Black
Industriens Hus, located at one of Copenhagen's most central addresses, has undergone a significant transformation since the building received a new, modern double glass facade in 2013. This striking building, located on the corner of HC Andersens Boulevard and Vesterbrogade, is known for its stylish glass structure that not only protects against traffic noise, but also improves the building's energy savings. The facade mirrors the surrounding historic buildings on Rådhuspladsen and creates a beautiful dialogue between new and old.
HAI have contributed to the project by surface-treating the rear aluminum frames in a durable BS4 Bronze-black finish. This anodization not only protects the aluminum from corrosion, but also gives the frames an elegant look that complements the shiny glass facade. HAI's anodizing technology helps to ensure that Industriens Hus' facade remains beautiful and resistant over time – a decisive factor when working with buildings in such prominent locations.
With its advanced facade and integrated LED lighting that can be programmed to display different colors and patterns, the House of Industry has a modern and dynamic look that attracts passers-by and tourists alike. The building's double facade also creates a better indoor climate, where the offices are kept warm, while the traffic noise from one of Denmark's busiest intersections is significantly reduced.
